*really* not sure if I'm putting this stuff in the right category, but ah well....*G*
This was a table gift for a doll convention [can't recall if it was for a Barbie one or IFDC], a friend rerooted the hair, and repainted the face [he was the one that was giving the dolls as gifts. heh]
The clothes and hat I did myself, and breaks down as follows:
Hat: Hand-knit using "un-plied" Red Heart yarn. Though you can't really tell in any of the pics, yes, this hat has ear flaps. *G*
Skirt: Altered from a Barbie pattern, darned if I can remember which one. That might have been one of the gowns I took the skirt from [don't laugh, I've done a lot of creative altering, so shy of digging out my patterns and looking, I can't recall most times what came from what. *G*]
Obi and Yukata: from a Japanese pattern book. I just sewed 'em up myself.
Armlets: pretty much did those off the cuff. I was really happy with them though, and happier that I actually made a pattern...and kept it. *G* Will probably do more armlets at some point in the future. ^_^
urr....IFDC is a doll convention [International Fashion Doll Convention, IF I remember correctly. O_o Everyone's always referring to it as IFDC these days, so I can never remember....]
Thanks for the compliment....the pattern for the yukata was from a Japanese magazine, so it was a bit trial and error at first to figure it out [as I can't read a LICK of Japanese...wanna fix that some day, as I have a knitting magazine with sweaters I'd like to try...heh]. The person I sewed for found the fabric, though.

.....o3o; I thought IFDC was like "if found don't call" or something, but that doesn't make any sense at all. And no problem, I think you did a good job on the yukata. (And to me, patterns are hard to figure out even if they're in English.)
